About 10 days ago some thieves broke into our childrens building and made a big mess! They managed to take a water jug that the children had been collecting some money in. They busted the front door pretty good and did some vandalizing inside. About a week later they entered the front door of the sanctuary and were scared off by our alarm system but did manage to steal a couple of electric guitars and a bass guitar. In proverbs it says that when you find the thief, he must payback seven times. We know who the thief is, and he will pay back! While some find joy in serving others there are some that find joy in stealing from others, go figure!

Hey Pastor Pat,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to encourage you. About 6 weeks ago a thief broke into our home while Candy and I were at work. The alarm scared them off and it didn't appear they had stolen anything. Laptop was sitting on the kitchen table completly intact, non of our elecronic equipment was missing everything looked fine. It wasn't until later that night that I realized that two of my guitars were stolen, a American Made Fender Strat, and a very expensive a rare Taylor acoustic guitar. I was distraught to say the least, not because the guitars were stolen, but because it became increasingly aparant that they knew what they were looking for, and considering that I pretty much only play at various churches in the city, that was a very disturbing thought. But through the situation I have been blessed. The insurance came through with more than enough money to replace both guitars and puchase a third. and I was able to find another Taylor exactly like that very rare one I had previously owned. All this to say, God blesses us when we praise him in the midst of injustice. and I know that he bless your ministry and church abudantly. <><
